Ankush Das, founder of Snestico
Ankush Das is the founder and CEO of Snestico, the AI apartment search and roommate finder for people moving somewhere new. He started Snestico in Akron, Ohio, in 2025 to make the riskiest part of a move safer: renting a home you can't visit, from someone you haven't met.
Ankush is an engineer and management professional. His work has been in technology integration and business operations. At Snestico he builds the product with designer and researcher Rakshita Sachdev, and he writes and checks the guides on this site.
Every guide he publishes here follows the same rules. Facts about rent, deposits, leases and tenant rights link to the government page or law they come from. Facts about Snestico describe what the product does today. Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last checked.
